Quality Statement:

It is the policy of LDI to profitably provide high quality, cost effective products that exceed our customer's requirements. We will accomplish this by utiliizing a quality system that fosters continual improvement of our products and working environment.

Quality at the Source:

We maintain control of the quality of the products we manufacture with a "Quality at the Source" philosophy. Our associates take ownership of quality as they work within a Quality system that utilizes First-Piece Inspections, In-process Inspections, and Cross-Check procedures. Regular audits throughout the facilities ensure these procedures are followed and documented.

Inspection:

We utilize Precision Measuring Instruments, Precision Gages, Optical Comparators, CMM and SPC processes to measure and inspect components and finished products. We also have a complete calibration system in place to ensure that all inspection devices, gages and equipment are maintained and checked for accuracy at regular intervals. Most components and systems undergo Air and pressurized Oil testing after final assembly. Purchased components are inspected to a sampling plan upon receipt and we require certifications for the raw materials we use. Our Quality staff is ASQ CMI and AWSI certified.

Containment:

A detailed system is in place to identify and isolate any potential non-conforming materials during every phase of our operations. CAR's are issued, or requested as required. Root Cause Analysis is conducted to ensure non-conformances do not reoccur.
