About LDI Industries

Company History

Founded in 1962 by machinist Gus Lukas, LDI began with a patented sight glass that met a growing need in the hydraulic industry. The company quickly expanded in the 1960s and 70s with fluid level indicators and lubrication products. Strategic acquisitions, including Flodar in the 1980s and a reservoir manufacturer in 2004, enabled a shift toward engineered solutions. The addition of the Hydra-Tool Swivel line in the 1990s further broadened LDI’s capabilities. Today, LDI continues to grow through innovation, customer focus, and a strong foundation in American manufacturing.

At LDI Industries, our mission is to provide a safe, clean, and innovative environment for producing world-class fluid power and lubrication solutions. We are committed to high standards in product performance, employee safety, and customer satisfaction.
